What is it all about?

EnRoot Studio is an independent design project aiming to preserve the travel memories by focusing on what one remembers the least - botanics. We choose the plants from the areas we love and cast them in white gypsum. Doing so we try to keep all the minor details of the plant and also some bits of the local philosophy.

So why decorate your home with just pretty things if you can do it with things that are personal, meaningful and well… still pretty

  • This was the first collection of the project. It’s made with a coarse local gypsum to represent the surviving yet amazing flora of the island

  • This collection is the hardest to make. Gentle plants, mirror like surface of a clay: subtle beauty and lots of work - exactly what Japan is about

  • Every work has a gypsum frame - UK is not about crossing the borders. Yet despite the low exposure this reserved and chilly land still can surprise with its true beauty
